Father's Day Special

I know, I know. My husband isn't a father yet, but he will be someday! But I wanted to feature him here for a little Father's Day special because he's pretty amazing. As some of you know, I grew up with a father/father figure in my life. My parents got divorced right after I was born, so all I had was my mom. She's amazing in so many ways, but I was still missing that manly, father figure in my life. Then this sweet guy came along, and in a way, he sort of filled that void. Not that he treats me like his daughter, but he makes me feel secure, and protected. He loves me unconditionally and cares for me constantly. I know I can always go to him for advice and comfort.

Plus, one day he said to me, "Dang, I dress pretty good. You should feature me on your blog!" So, I swear I didn't force him to do this! He totally did it willingly. A lot of people think that because I blog about my personal style and fashion, that I dress my husband too--which is totally wrong. Whenever we go shopping for him, everything I pick up, it's an immediate "No." He has his own personal style, so I respect that, and just adore him anyway. Although I did buy him that shirt so I guess that gives me some credit, right?
