FASHION FILLED WEEKEND

Thursday night, my girl Jessie and I, along with our sweet husbands, attended a fashion show/launch party for a company called The Mirrored Project. It's an awesome company and I loved meeting the founder of the company. They have so many amazing coats and jackets, and for every one you buy, they'll give a product or service to a child in need. The really cool thing is that there is a serial code on whatever you buy, and they'll put a matching serial code on the product/service that goes to the child AND take pictures, and upload them so you can see exactly who you're helping. You can find out more information about the company here.

On Saturday night, we went to the launch party for Niya Model Management. It was a black tie event, so of course we were both nervous about what to wear. We were pretty much the only ones in the party who WEREN'T models, so that definitely helped my self esteem. ;) They had beautiful decor, the vibe was amazing, and there were A TON of people there. Niya has done really great things in the past year, and she did an amazing job putting the whole event together. The best part about the night? Talking in the parking lot with Jessie for seriously an hour after the event. We seriously talked about everything, and probably could've talked all night, but our poor feet were dying from our heels. It's amazing the friendships that have come out of this whole blogging thing. She has seriously become such a good friend! I had the best weekend hanging out with her and her hubby. Anyway, happy Monday!! Thanks for reading! xo

ReplyDeleteDid you make that skirt yourself (super-brilliant-awesome) or is that actually a company name that I've never heard of because I live on the other corner of the globe from you.
