Hey guys! It's been a loooong time since I've done a DIY, but this one is definitely something that would be useful to everyone who is looking to order some Christmas cards this season! The ones above are from Minted and Shutterfly, and I played around a little bit on both the sites (the originals are cards that I personalized in Shutterfly, just so you don't think I'm copying them word for word, haha). I created and personalized some cards in hopes that I would create the perfect one, stay under $30, order a few of each design (because I'm the most indecisive person ever and can't pick just one) and call it good! But to my dismay, staying under $30 was a lot harder than I thought it'd be. So I closed out of both sites, hopped onto Pinterest and searched "Cheap Christmas cards" and still couldn't find anything on there. (So I basically spent way too much time personalizing cards that I didn't even end up ordering.) Then I thought, what the heck, I could probably make similar cards myself! And so I did.
You can probably use any type of photo editor you'd like, but I personally used PicMonkey, because it has lots of font options. I think they turned out really cute, and they were SO much cheaper! I ended up paying $4.20 for 35 prints. I just ordered the prints through Walgreens (they were only $.12 per card), but you can print them out wherever your little heart desires. I made A BUNCH more that I really love, because it's just so easy! There are so many holiday quotes and songs that you can just add over a photo, and it looks darling. Voila! The easiest and cheapest Christmas cards EVER.
Nice post.Enter my giveaway. http://www.chicfromhair2toe.com/2013/11/hot-links-weekly-roundup-11232013.html
